Wanderers Sport Club was established on 20 February 1920 as Wanderers Rugby Football Club. During the past century the club evolved into a sport club with the best facilities in the country and host the following sport codes: rugby, cricket, hockey, netball, squash and table tennis. In addition to the club facilities, Windhoek Afrikaans Private School, a subclub of Wanderers Sport Club, developed their own facilities on the premises. The following facilities are currently available: 2 x rugby fields, 2 x ICC approved cricket fields, cricket nets, astro hockey field, 6 netball fields, squash courts, indoor hockey/netball court, main hall, 2 x bars, boardroom, small hall/restaurant and a fully equipped kitchen to cater for event and functions held at the club.
